About

Our Mission

The rise of social media and wider distribution of third-party web content have impacted the way brands and organizations connect with users online. Giv.to manages an organization's online presence - maximizing return, measuring campaign effectiveness, and drawing users to causes. Giv.to enables organizations to extend their web presence with a brand-able, customizable actionbar that appears when supporters visit links shared with them. The actionbar reminds every supporter about the connection between the organization and the content shared with them, as well as putting action opportunities right at their fingertips. Giv.to - we want to make giving easier for you!

The Company

Giv.to is a for-profit social enterprise. We are currently in the process of being certified as a B Corporation, a new type of corporation that uses the power of business to solve social and environmental problems.

Giv.to is a service of Contribune, a social news aggregator and donor analytics platform.

The Giv.to Team

Michael, Founder, is primarily responsible for Giv.to’s application development. His work implementing social media strategies for small businesses has yielded great insight into the methods most effective of viral marketing and customer engagement. Michael also has experience implementing technology solutions for non-profits and for federal government agencies.

Adam, CoFounder, is responsible for management of Giv.to’s political contracts and management of overall project goals, as well as Interface Design. Adam has a background in political campaigns - specifically, directing online giving. His work, which combined an aggressive national blogging core with creative grassroots activism, garnered over $400,000 in online contributions – a greater percentage than any other congressional race in the country.

Rachelle is responsible for Giv.to's project plan, staffing, communications, and other business needs. Rachelle has previously led both technical and functional teams of up to ten people, and comes from an IT strategy and implementation background. In this capacity, Rachelle has implemented both commercial off the shelf software and has designed custom applications for finance and human resources.

Michelle combines her professional experience in IT management consulting with a personal passion for the nonprofit community - education, Autism, and child advocacy are particular areas of interest - to understand the needs of cause directors and work with them to design creative uses for the Giv.to platform in their own organizations.
