In this policy, “Personal Information” refers to information associated with an individual, including names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, etc. “Your Organization” or "the (an) Organization" refers to the non-profit, campaign, committee or other similar organization to which you choose to donate in accordance with Giv.to’s Terms of Use agreement.

Sharing of User Information

When you use Giv.to, our servers automatically record certain information about your use. Similar to other web services, Giv.to records information such as account activity, data displayed or clicked on, and other log information. Giv.to may collect aggregated information to report on donation trends.

Further, if you choose to donate to an Organization using the Giv.to service, you are giving Giv.to the permission to share your Personal Information with Your Organization. Because we are forwarding your Personal Information to the organization to which you are contributing, by releasing your personal information to Giv.to you are also agreeing to the Privacy Policy of the organization are you supporting. You may wish to review Your Organization's Privacy Policy before you finalize any doantion.

Email Addresses

Giv.to will not sell your email address to any third party or vendor. Our policy is to allow you to unsubscribe from Giv.to-related mailings at any time.

Credit Card Information

We securely transmit your credit card to the payment processor of Your Organization, and do not store this information after the payment has been verified.

Information Sent to Political Campaigns

When you contribute to an Organization considered by federal regulations to be a political campaign, we are required by law to collect your name, postal address, phone number, email address, occupation, employer, and employer’s address, and to send this information along with your donation.
